Getting to distant places and worthwhile destinations require a lot of patience and travel know-how. Cars are the best way to get around Mongolia. They can be hired through your hotel or accommodation and will usually include a driver. If you wish to drive yourself, an international driving license if required if you spend more than a month in the country.

Around

Mongolia is a vast country and there are various ways to get from one place to another. For longer distances it is recommended to fly, otherwise, we recommend renting a car, motorcycle, or bicycle. You can also take a bus, train or camel to experience Mongolia.

Motorbike

Getting around Mongolia by motorcycle is a great way to have a closer connection to the country. There are a number of tour operators, who offer motorcycle trips. If you wish to travel on your own, careful planning is recommended.
